Pendant D: 40 mm worked in breakthrough technology, including cotton tape / leather strap with stopper and end beads, length of about 45-70 cm adjustable. Our bone products are produced in elaborate manual work using old craft techniques. The material used is recycled bovine bone, which in structure is the same as ivory. The intricate breakthrough work on these objects shows the true mastery of the artisans. Bone is more brittle and harder than horn, so it should not be exposed to large bending loads and hard knocks. The natural material is poison-free, body neutral and food safe. By constantly wearing on the skin, the bone absorbs oils and moisture and turns old-honey-yellow. This patina is a sign of the bond with the piece of jewelery and its authenticity.
